This one was an experiment in dialogue-based storytelling. I wanted to imagine what it would be like to encounter a chatbot that had achieved the Singularity. It could work as a short story, if some of the more outlandish moments were pared down. The artwork above is an illustration I used for my book Lucid Death, which I pulled from Amazon shortly after publishing, and may someday republish. The experiment below was originally intended to provide an origin story for the AI entity in that book, but quickly became its own separate project that I later abandoned.
